As a student at the University of Maryland I became involved in Terp Thon, an organization that raises money and awareness for the patients treated at Children’s National Hospital. Terp Thon was an incredibly significant part of my life that played a large role in developing me into the person I am today. As an alumni I continue to support the children and their families. YOU can show your support too by contributing to my personal fundraising page (LINK). In the constant fight against childhood sickness, disease, and injury, no donation is too small: any amount can and will help as Terp Thon strives to always be the best they can. Please consider donating today!
As a Terp Thon Alumni, I am always happy to support our undergraduates and @TerpThon. Please donate today! #ForeverTFK [LINK]

SUBJECT: Fundraising for Children’s National Health System! BODY: [Team], During my time at University of Maryland, I participated in Terp Thon – an all-year fundraising effort that ended with a 12-hour event where thousands of students raised awareness for the patients at the hospital. During that time, there was music playing, games and performances. Most importantly, the kids who were treated at Children’s National Hospital would tell their story about growing up with a disease or injury that resulted in ongoing treatment. Their brave stories will stay with me forever and I have committed myself to giving back to this cause after college.
As an alumni, my personal goal is$200 and I am hoping for your help in getting there! 100% of what you donate to me goes to the hospital! Ways to Donate:
For those who have Venmo, you can send money to @username and I will donate on your behalf.
If you are looking for a tax-deductible receipt of your donation, the best way is to donate via this secure website that will go directly into my fundraising account: Donor Drive Link
I can donate cash on your behalf
[If applicable, include information about company match.] Thank you! [Name]

First off, let me start by thanking you for your continued support of Terp Thon and my efforts to make a difference through fundraising for this organization. Whether it’s implementing a “Jean’s Day” or putting a change jar in your break room, there are many ways to bring your fundraising efforts into the workplace. Many companies also reward employees for their personal donations to nonprofits, like Children’s National. There is a list of some larger employers that provide charitable matching below.
